The changes come in context of multiple lawsuits as well as investigations that have accused Activision Blizzard of sexual harassment and discrimination against women. Many Blizzard veterans, including the former Blizzard director J. Allen Brack, have left the company due to the allegations in the lawsuit. Blizzard recently detailed its thought of the new changes in a blog post noting that “goofy jokes and sometimes adult innuendos are a part of WoTLK Classic Gold and probably always will remain” but that the developer wants to “remain vigilant about the possibility that certain elements…are open to all players.”
In the hopes of obtaining the most precise feedback from players Blizzard is forming a World of Warcraft community council where a variety of players can provide their views on a variety of areas that relate with Blizzard’s MMORPG.
In a statement, Blizzard says “gathering and getting feedback from players is more crucial than ever,” Blizzard is currently accepting submissions from players to join the council. The council is searching for different game styles to cover all aspects that make up the game.
“One of the key goals of this program to stimulate discussion among players with a range of different styles of play,” Blizzard states. “To help ensure this, part of the application procedure will be sharing your passions and skills with cheap WoTLK Gold. Whether it’s cutting-edge raiding, playing alts, completing tasks, gaining accessibility or collecting transmog, we’d like to hear your thoughts and ensure that you’re heard.”
