I’ve been playing 2k since the year 2015. It got me into Cheap MT 2K22 basketball, it helped me learn the players and I’m still playing 2k, as flawed as it is. As I’ve grown older I’m feeling like I’ve watched 2k grow slightly more cash-strapped. I’ve seen their games come out with a lack of polish. I have waited 20 gig after 20 gig patch.
That’s why I’ve quit MyTeam and MyCareer. I don’t have the funds or the time to be competitive in those games. All-Star Team-Up is the one constant that keeps me returning to the game after each game. You may have never ever heard of it, or have any idea what it is. It’s easy to load into a game, with your friends, choose the NBA player, and play against a mix of real people and computers who are also NBA players.
It’s not necessary to create an investment of fifty dollars only to be disappointed. There really aren’t any destructive gameplay meta. There’s a decent mini-community surrounding the game. Games are entertaining and competitive, with low stakes. There is no time or money to choose Giannis one day and LeBron next. The whole NBA is your oyster for free.
2K might be ending Rec as a result of this. They want you spending money and time playing their sport. Rec is required if you are looking to play 5v5. Simply put, I’m no longer a kid anymore and do not have enough resources (time-wise or money-wise) to become a competitive MyCareer player. It’s frustrating to realize that the only thing I enjoy about MyCareer is its absence of money.
I’ve spent countless hours on 2k , and I’ve been ridiculously thrilled with every new release for more than an entire decade. I even have a list of all the games that my family and I have played. This is the franchise I love the most. There is no reason to buy any future titles if this mode is removed.
While I understand why there aren’t many people who feel the same however, I would like to can you buy mt request that copy-and paste continue to progress until 2K22 and beyond. The game would lose something if it didn’t. All-Star Team-Up is getting taken off the market because it’s no longer profitable, even though it wouldn’t take too much effort to simply keep it in a copy-and-paste game; which makes me sad.
